I have over 9 years of teaching experience. I am currently teaching statistics at a local university, and teaching high school algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. My husband and I have been teaching at home since our oldest started kindergarten. Through the years, we have tried several different publishing companies, and our curriculum through the years has been eclectic. I personally love Veritas for history and Harold Jacobs for math. I am most familiar with Christian Liberty Press, Veritas Press, ABeka, Saxon math, and Modern Curriculum Press math. I have helped many friends with their math problems in other books such as Bob Jones.
I am now a part-time free-lance consultant, part-time professor, and full-time mother and teacher for my children. I have over 18 years experience providing statistical consulting services and over 16 years of programming experience. I also have experience not just in programming software, but in the area of writing, especially for software manuals and math textbooks.
