I am an experienced writer in both technical and marketing environments. My career has enabled me to become an accomplished multimedia author, and my preferred documentation style is Information Mapping®.
I will begin my MA in Professional Communication (International and Intercultural focus) in October 2009.

Experience & Qualifications

My career path has led me to both creative and technical roles, enabling me to become a confident and diverse communications professional. With experience in marketing, classroom training, voiceover multimedia and end-user documentation, In addition to my Communications degree, I achieved TESL certification in 1997 and taught at the University of Manitoba during this time. At an ESL teacher’s conference I was selected to present the Lexical Approach to language acquisition, and immediately following the completion of my studies in 1998 I taught at a summer language institute in Klaipeda, Lithuania (classroom size 20 – 25). Upon my return to Canada I continued my Communications studies and tutored English on a part time basis.
