Dictionaries will not work translating food and preparation methods of a menu or recipe into an understandable context of a different language.
RESTAURANT OWNERS AND CHEFS, be professional from the start as your guests start judging your business and food reading the menu you offer and the way it is written. Expectations created on the menu should be reflected in the dish served. Menu engineering is a very powerful and subconscious selling tool. Open yourself up to new ethnic markets.
PRIVATE FOOD AFICIONADO, let me help you understanding this very special recipe you picked up on your last vacation and suggest you alternative ingredients in case the one you are looking for is not available in your area or is known by a different name.

Experience & Qualifications
|
|
A native of Saarlouis - Germany, I followed my youthful passion for cuisine in this Lorraine town close to the French border and enrolled in the Hotelfachschule Saarbruecken, completing my traditional European chef apprenticeship before the age of 20.
I then embarked for the next 25 years on an international culinary journey to extend my knowledge and eventually opened new food concepts and held positions as Executive Chef in such renowned culinary metropolises as New York - USA , Cologne - Germany, Acapulco, Guadalajara and Riviera Maya - Mexico, Buenos Aires - Argentina and Saipan – Asia and Panama, just to name a few of his professional assignments.
Wherever I go, I focus on the quality, fresh availability and variety of local food ingredients. Ingredients that are powerful and accessible in a certain region empower a recipe to stand on its own. A preparation method of the local community is an equal part of the final flavor of this dish. By speaking the language and understanding the dialects, one truly understands the success of an amazing meal.
Being exposed to these different cultures over the years, has given me this unique knowledge to share with other culinary devotee’s.
