I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and earned a teaching certificate in Secondary (High School) Mathematics from the same institution. While an undergraduate, I worked in the Learning Skills Center at University of Pittsburgh, tutoring my own peers and teaching problem-solving sessions. I have tutored virtually ALL types of mathematics privately from my home. I taught Seventh and Eighth Grade Algebra for two years.

Experience & Qualifications

I have privately tutored students in my home in the following branches of mathematics: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Calculus. Some of the tutoring sessions involved more than one student at a time.
My classroom teaching experience was at a rather elite Catholic School in the late 1990's. There I taught seventh graders one year, and eighth graders another year, using Houghton-Mifflin books.
I have completed, and continue to complete, Continuing Education courses that keep my skills up-to-date, per the requirements of Pennsylvania's Act 48.
