In the year 2002 I earned an MA in History from Oakland University, MI; and my BA from Olivet College, MI in 1993. The Colonial Era through Civil War Reconstruction in US History is my area of true expertise. This next year I will be entering my 19th year of teaching the topic both at the secondary and college levels. Additionally, I played four years of college football and subsequently coached High School Varsity football for 16 years.
