I studied the symptoms, causes, treatment options and legal rights regarding each disorder and have given numerous presentations to other students on these topics. Experience & Qualifications

Prior to receiving my bachelor's degree, I earned consistently high marks throughout my coursework. I excelled in courses such as developmental psychology, physiological psychology, principles of learning, speech and language acquistion, and exceptional children. I did presentations on how to implement assistive technology in the classroom for learning disabled students. I also wrote papers which focused in depth on the Individuals With Disablities Education Act and its criterion in regard to public education. I also learned how to implement both Behavioral Education Plans and Individualized Education Plans as well as how Annual Review and Dismissal meetings are conducted. I also have personal experience in helping a relative who has dyslexia and so am very familiar with the different challenges that dyslexia presents.
