I am currently in the field of special education and have been for two years. I also have a lifetime education in children with special needs through helping raise a relative with special needs. I currently do in home therapy for behaviors as well as work full time in a school only for children with special needs. My expertise is for children 3years-21 years in special education. I also have over 6 years in early childhood education.

Experience & Qualifications

Throughout high school, I volunteered in the special education classroom in my highschool to gain knowledge. I was treated as a teacher from those children and began my lifelong love of educating children with special needs. I received a BA from a local college and began working with special education students in public schools. The school I currently work in houses ONLY children ages 3years-21 years with special needs. I am proficient in educating and managing behaviors for all types of disabilities. I have worked with children who have Autism, who are MD (multiply disabled), CP (Cerebral Palsy), ADD and ADHD, children who are ED (emotionally disturbed) and children with Downs Syndrom. I am thrilled to be able to provide you with some strategies to manage behaviors for your child with special needs and also to recommend some educational tools for them. Please note that I will not discuss medication as I am not qualified to do so. I cannot offer suggestions on adversive techiques in regards to discipline.
