Oftentimes, the most difficult part of a medical diagnosis is understanding exactly what pathology one is dealing with. You can Google the diagnosis forever, and still not understand post graduate medical level language...that takes years. Your physician is far too busy to take hours explaining exactly what you have, and what your treatments entail. As an MD currently in the midst of a PhD , I will take the time to explain exactly what your disease means, what questions you may need to ask your doc for complete understanding. I do NOT make diagnoses or any treatment recommendations ( that is your physician's job). Once you have been diagnosed, I take you by the hand, and fully explain all aspects of your disease to you, at a simple level, as many times as necessary for you to comfortably understand what your difficulty is. I also can explain what lab tests mean, research ongoing clinical trials for you to discuss with your physician, etc. I act as a high level teacher, my objective to educate you completely about your problem, so you can knowledgeably discuss it with your physician. A substantial portion of handling a medical crisis is understanding exactly what you are dealing with, what treatments mean, and knowing the proper, concise questions to ask for full understanding. The purpose of my telephone consults is to achieve that end. I am compassionate, kind, understanding, patient, native English speaking, and truly believe in the need for this service. I also feel any level of education other than MD can not address critical issues adequately. In order for me to consider a telephone consult, you must already have an EXACT diagnosis. Thank you.

Experience & Qualifications

BA Chemistry, Medical technology degree( ASCP), Doctor of Medicine ( MD) , 111 credits assorted Public Health topics, CME credits, currently enrolled in PhD program in in Public Health, performing at Summa Cum Laude level.
