REIKI is a form of "energy medicine" developed in Japan by Dr. Usui. I practice the traditional Usui form of Reiki. There are many schools of thought and many forms of Reiki that have come to be in the years since Dr. Usui first began teaching his natural healing method. They all have validity, and in many ways are very similar.
Reiki is based on Universal Life Force energy...that special something that makes us alive. In china it is known as 'chi', or in the west as 'vital force'.
Reiki is everywhere, always, all at the same time. Just like gravity. This allows the energy to be directed by someone who has been 'tuned in' to Reiki at the second degree level and above even at a great distance. This is why I believe Reiki is an excellent Natural Health technique for the Internet!

Experience & Qualifications

14 total years clinical experience as a certified physician assistant (PA-C)...7 years in psychiatry (child-adolescent, general adult and D&A rehab) and 7 years in interventional cardiology / cath lab.
My Reiki training began in the mid 1990s culminating in Master attunements in 2000.
I've trained in Martial arts since 1992, except for an extended maternity sabbatical.
I've read Tarot cards online since 2003, but have done offline intuitive work since 1992.
I've written holistic health educational information for online groups since 1999 and served as an allexperts.com "expert" in alternative medicine since 2003. My article "herb in plain sight" about herbal uses of dandelion was published in 2000 in "Point of Light" magazine. I continue to write on the topic of holistic health and currently seek publication for fiction works.
