I was trained as a nurse receiving a B.S.N. and RN in 1985. Thirteen years later I returned to school and earned a Masters Degree in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing. I experienced a wide range of medical and nursing specialties as I "floated" to all the different units while working as a hospital nurse. Later my interest in prevention and getting to the "root" of disease led me to becoming interested in alternative treatments, counseling and psychotherapy. I've worked with children,adolescents,adults,families and the elderly. I've studied everything from play therapy, art and dream therapy to the various forms of talk and behavioral therapies. My own curiosity has led me to religious and spiritual philosophies including from Christianity to Zen. I've experienced as well as studied alternative healing systems such as yoga, astrology, Aryurveda, Chinese medicine, homeopathy, and herbal medicine. I've seen incredible healing occur as the result of opening to what is old and new. There are many ways to bring healing to mind, body and soul. I am honored to lead you towards the way of healing and living that allows you to feel in your heart and soul the beauty of your life and ultimately to trust the guidance that is felt from within and without.
