My Expert Service

Children are our most valuable resource. Making sure they receive quality health care is a major concern. The choice of a therapist requires careful consideration. There is no substitute for experience. I have spent my professional life perfecting clinical skills that were acquired specifically to treat children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders. Choosing the most appropriate therapeutic approach speaks directly to clinical experience. I have an extensive knowledge of past and present theories of child development. Decisions regarding treatment take into account cultural influences and current trends. I prefer the establishment of goals in therapy. Problem areas are clarified and solutions are suggested. Support and trust are essential elements in establishing a positive client/therapist relationship. A nurturing non-judgmental demeanor fosters the creation of alternate solutions. This approach continues to be quite effective.
