Treatment for Anorexia, Bulimia, Emotional Eating and Body Dysmorphia is through the use of individual, group and family therapy. Methods include the use of cognitive and behavioral strategies as well as insight-oriented or psychodynamic therapy. As is sometimes the case in the treatment of eating disorders, a team approach can be easily facilitated in collaboration with carefully chosen colleagues such as nutritionists, psychiatrists, internists and, when needed, access to higher levels of care.

Experience & Qualifications

Jennie Kramer served as the Director of the Renfrew Centers for Eating Disorders 5 years and remains a member of their Advisory Board. Prior to entering this field, she also served as Chief Operating Officer for Dr. Robert Atkins and was a healthcare management consultant to many prestigious clients in the fields of integrative medicine, nutrition and other areas of medicine and surgery.
EDUCATION:
Ms. Kramer received her M.S.W. or Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and her
BSW or Bachelors Degree in Social Work from -Adelphi University.
He has also completed additional training through the Minuchin Center for the Family, REBT and CBT Trainings and extensive coursework through the Landmark Education Corp.
