Wenna Zhang is a graduate of the University of Alberta. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition in 2007. She worked for the Shine clinic for 2 years as an inner city youth nutrition consultant during her undergraduate study. After completion of her degree, she became a private consultant specializing cardiovascular problems. She is also actively involved in the promoting healthy eating in her local community.
Wenna’s passion for helping people deal with cardiovascular problems came from her family. Several of her family members were diagnosed with cardiovascular disease and kidney disease. Wenna used her knowledge in nutrition to help her family overcome their health problems and continues to research scientific advances in order to provide the most up to date nutrition advice. During her study, she worked with several health care professionals researching heart disease prevention and treatment. She is a very loving, caring individual who always does her best to help her clients.
