Experience in EKG, ARDS, Septic Shock, DIC, Sickle Cell Anemia Crisis, Heart attacks, Heart Arrhythmias and treatment. Diabetes (Hypoglycemic episodes, Diabetic Ketoacidosis). Ventilator patients and diagnosis associated with the reasons for Mechanical ventilation. IV fluid therapy as well as the various IVF drips to help maintain BP, hydration,infections,etc. Knowledge of the care involved for Triple Lumen Catheters, Swan Ganz catheters. Chest tubes insertion and care.

Mentor student nurses, RN associate degree. ACLS,PALS and CPR certifications. Excellent Assessment Skills related to Nursing. Charge Nurse in the ICU setting. assisted MD's with various procedures in ICU (TLC/Swan Ganz insertion, Assist with Intubation, Run Codes). Chart relevant information and when to chart again after interventions, calls to Dr or family members, etc. IV insertion, foley cath insertion, monitor Arterial lines, etc. Interpret Lab values and blood gases.
