Since 2002, I have been evaluating and treating people with Mental Ilnesses including those with Common Mental disorders such as Depression & Anxiety disorders as well as those with Severe Mental Illness such as Schizophrenia and Bipolar Mood Disorder.I provide both in patient as well as out patient treatment as needed. I have also worked in a De-Addiction hospital providing Detoxificaion & Relapse Prevention strategies for those dependant on harmful substances such as Alcohol & illicit drugs. For the last 3 years I have also been involved in a large scale community research of common mental health problems among the Urban Adult Population. I help build awareness about Psychiatric Disorders- the need for early recognition and treatment. I educate lay people by dispelling the common myths about Psychiatric Disorders.
