Welcome to the Grand Opening of my virtual office. My specific area of expertise is educating youth and adults of all ages about Core Issues. I define a Core Issue as; "Something that has happened to you...that you had no control over or could not help." With each Core Issue come associated feelings...which if not appropriately dealt with will lead to at-risk, self destructive behaviors. I specialize in helping people identify their unique Core Issues...identify the associated feelings...and help modify the at-risk behaviors. The process and philosophy is rather simple, but like anything worthwhile, takes consistent hard work. I would love the opportunity to to earn your trust and help you put the pieces of the puzzle together. I promise to let you know if I think I can help before any money changes hands.

Experience & Qualifications

I have spent the last few years as a counselor for troubled teens at a wilderness treatment facility. I conduct parent workshops and seminars educating children and parents on Core Issues and the affects they have on all of our lives. I facilitate and supervise workshops dealing with positive parenting, teaching personal accountability, communication and conflict resolutions. I am certified in conflict resolution and intervention de-escalation techniques.
I can list all of these big psychology terms above but to be honest, most of my experience comes from living through what most of my clients are currently going through. I say I have a Triple Master's Degree in Life because my father died when I was 2...I know what its like to grow up without a father and the feelings that go along with it. Addiction runs in my family so I know how that can fracture relationships. Depression and anxiety runs in my family...I know the struggle related to "just trying to make it through another day".
When I was first introduced to the concept of Core Issues, my life began changing. I felt empowered, positive and motivated. When I learned how to identify my Core Issues, the feelings related to each Core Issue and how those feelings led to negative behaviors...I was able then to connect the dots and start dealing with emotions and get the most out of life.
This led me to writing-"TO THE CORE"...How to Identify & Overcome Your Core Issues.
I am now on a mission to share these techniques with you and help you help yourself.
