My Expert Service

As a certified birth doula, I follow women (and their support person) prenataly to discuss and map out a personalized birth plan. I attend the labour and birth, asissting with comfort measures and emotional support. Following your birth we will have one more appointment to discuss your birth experience. I am always available for breastfeeding support.
As a counsellor, I help women process their birth experiences, specifically birth trauma related to prior sexual abuse.

Experience & Qualifications

|
I have attended over thirty births as a certified doula, including medicated and non-medicated vaginal births, cesarean births, forcep and vacuum assissted births. I am also trained in breastfeeding support. I have successfully breastfed two boys and have helped many other women have equally successful breastfeeding relationships. I am a trained Safe Passage Provider, helping survivors of childhood sexual abuse through their childbearing year and breastfeeding relationship.
