I have 25 years' experience in clinical and research psychiatry, in a wide variety of settings. I have held academic posts as Assistant or Associate Professor at the University of Southern California, Harvard Medical School, and Brown University Medical School.
I have about 70 publications, mostly first-authored primary research reports in peer-review journals, plus a number of book chapters and a book coauthored on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for the lay reader.
Recently, due to my own affliction with obstructive sleep apnea, I have gained additional education in sleep medicine, and have for the past three years maintained a website interpreting recent research findings for patients and families suffering from sleep apnea.
