I have over 30 years experience in Portuguese cooking. I was born in Portugal but raised in the USA. Everything I cook is comfort food, no fancy shmancy big elaborate snotty meals. Just yummy good. Its hard trying to find that perfect recipe when the kids are bored from the same dinners week after week. Relax, every recipe I have has been served here in my home to family and friends. My passion is food and seeing the joy people feel when eating my meals.

Independently run catering services for private events in NY, CT, NJ and now PA. I was employed at Muffin Lady for 5 years and Mark of Excellence Catering for 4 years before branched out on my own. I specialize on buffet style menus but am hired to do the occasional private dinner party as well. Everything I learned came from my Mom whom worked as a resturant chef in Portugal for 10 years and owned one herself. Now, I am told I cook better than my Mom! Anyone can go to school to learn to cook but I believe it has to be in your soul, to LOVE the ingredients and the process. People can taste the difference between a chef that lives and breaths their craft and someone who just slaps ingredients together. Don't believe me? Just look at my pic....I EAT everything I cook!
