I have a good understanding of designing projects. What looks good on paper does not always work well for usable space. I know what materials to use and the loads they carry. If not I know where to find it. How to level and square a project. What works to water proof floors outside to create covered areas. For example: Boathouses, and second story decks. We build Boathouses with second story party decks and roofs over the water. We install the overhead style boatlifts that suspend the boats in the air. I have knowledge in driving pipe to support the docks and boathouses.
I have knowledge in a wide range of Boatlift Products. How to assemble, how to repair and what lifts work for certain boats on different lakes. Staionary, Floating, Overhead, Electric or Manual.
I have knowledge in cleaning and sealing decks. What products to use, what products to stay away from and the application process
In the remodeling aspect I know what steps need to be taken to get the job completed. How things should look and what products to use to complete a project. Wether it is to resell or live in. Also the most cost effective way to go about it.
I also know what tools it takes to do these jobs.

I woked construction while going to College.I have had my construction busniess 12 years. We emphasize quality not quanity. Many builders do not like me for that reason. That is great to be a Liscensed Contractor, which I am, but it that means very little. It entails paying $50.00 to the county and signing your name. That is a big reason why homeowners get screwed so often. There is very little regulation of Contractors and Builders. I know how the job should look, how to do the work and have done the work. To many Contractors and Builders have never pouned a nail in their life. Worry about the quality and the money will come.
