My Expert Service

What can you do for me? I can help you get started on clicker training your parrot to fix behaviors like biting, screaming, feather plucking, or just teach them cute tricks. Clicker training is a fun and easy way to teach your pet good behavior and tricks. It’s extremely easy to do even if you’ve never trained a pet before. It’s fast, easy, and fun. It can help you gain your bird’s trust, and help establish a bond. It only requires a few minutes a day, and the results are amazingly fast. You can have significant results with-in minutes! If you have a bird that bites and does not like to be touched, I can show you how you can get him tamed. You’ll be sitting with your bird snuggling, and perching on your shoulder in no time. I can also show you how you can teach your bird cute tricks, and how to continue. I will work with you and your bird. I can teach you the basics, and show you what you need to do. I can also help with nutrition, caging, and other things to keep your bird healthy!

Experience & Qualifications

I’ve been working at a small animal hospital for years with doctors who work with Avian and exotics. If needed, I can give you a list of professional references. I’ve trained many birds! I specialize in behavioral issues. I had a client who had just recently bought a cockatiel. She had always wanted one, and when she finally adopted Daisy she was ecstatic. However, every time she came near Daisy’s cage, Daisy would start to thrash wildly in her cage. If she stuck he hand in the cage, Daisy would lunge at her and bite. Things got so bad that she had to handle Daisy with a leather glove just to pet her. I was not happy with this, and I decided to help her for free. She brought Daisy over to my house, and she was almost giving up on her. After the first day with me, Daisy had calmed down. She did not thrash when anyone walked near a cage. She learned to touch a stick on command, and after 2 days she started stepping up to my hand. When her owner came by at the end of the week to pick her up, I explained how to continue. She continued working with her at home. Daisy now rides on her finger, and let’s her owner pet her. Now they both are happy, and trust each other. This is what I want for you! It is a rewarding experience for me, considering that many birds are abandoned for things like this. These problems can be fixed and I can help you! Give it a try!
