I have been training and handling dogs for over 25 years. Working on a farm at a young age, I learned to handle animals of all sizes.
As a dog groomer and kennel manager I learned to teach owners how to better interact with their pets.
I owned a pet shop for the a few years before early retirement due to back problems. At the pet shop I sold puppies and small animals. Again teaching new dog owners how to train puppies.
I also give pet food advice. There are only a very few truly acceptable dog foods on the market, and they may be difficult to find. I assist clients with finding the pet food that will be the most healthy for their pet.
Since retirement in 2007 I have been publishing dog training content on numerous websites and have a blog at Dogs Rule Iowa
