I breed on a small scale and raise my puppies in my home. I believe that puppies raised in a safe family environment benefit from the socialization and routine when they make the transition to their new homes. I occasionally keep a pup to breed the next generation and use all natural methods using the dogs own "language" to train and form a bond with it. Dogs are most certainly one of the most intelligent and complex of all domestic animals.
