More than 15 years of working in a group of seven animal hospitals as an on the job trained veterinary technician as well as the Director of Education for the staff.
Currently, articles on pet health that I research and write are used in newspapers, magazines, radio, and local TV news across the US and Canada. These stories are seen by more than 12 million people every month. Recently, many of my articles/stories have been used in blogs and podcasts online as well. I can also be heard at PetLifeRadio.com on the Cattitude channel.
Breeder of purebred Shaded Silver Persians, Siamese, and numerous pocket pets.
20+ years of working with humane and rescue organizations including a 2 year tenure with a rural animal control facility. My experience helped them to increase adoptions and reduce euthanasias.
6 years of working in pet retail stores. My guidance enabled these stores to limit the numbers and types of pets they carried as well as provide the highest level of care for the pets.
