A lifelong Alaskan, my start in the tourism industry began with Alaska Airlines in 1978. In 1986 I opened The Travel Connection, a travel agency specializing in custom tours to Alaska (www.alaska4you.com), in an effort to help prospective travelers decipher the logistics of Alaska travel. My clients have ranged the entire spectrum from economy tours to the no-expense-spared wildlife/adventure tours. Finding the undiscovered gems as well as knowing the main attractions is all part of my expertise. Small ship cruises, remote lodges, village tours, wildlife viewing are just a few of my specialties. I am an expert at booking the Alaska Marine Highway (Alaska ferry). A former board member of the Southeast Alaska Tourism Council and a member of the Alaska Travel Industry Association, I have the local knowledge to help you plan the perfect Alaska tour!
