Gary Carlo is founder of The Gemini Investigations Group located in Los Angeles California. Mr. Carlo is a retired New York City Police Sergeant who brings a depth and diversity of experience with him. During an exemplary law enforcement career he was commended numerous times for bravery and was the recipient of the Department’s Medal of Valor. An innovative thinker, Mr. Carlo was instrumental in developing the blueprint for the NYPD’s “Model Block Program” which has been heralded as one of the most effective crime reduction strategies in modern policing. His experience did not go unnoticed as he was tapped to coordinate security for various government officials and visiting dignitaries. Recognized as an expert on criminal justice and law enforcement issues, Mr. Carlo is a regular guest on both network and cable news programs, talk radio and his articles have been published in the LA Times, Gannett Newspapers and other national publications. He was described by CNN President Tom Johnson as “the most articulate voice on crime issues around today.”
Mr. Carlo’s success carried over to the private sector. He was responsible for developing post 9/11 security procedures for a Fortune 100 multinational corporation worldwide as well as coordinating their domestic executive protection program. He has conducted workshops on workplace violence and sexual harassment and their impact on employees and corporate liability.
As an Investigator, Mr. Carlo has provided his services to many of the largest companies in the telecommunications industry.
Mr. Carlo holds degrees in both Political Science and Criminal Justice Policy and is currently attending law school in Los Angeles.
