I am an experienced trial attorney, having represented hundreds of criminal defendents at every stage of the process - from arrest through appeal. I am also experienced as a sentencing advocate, having represented over a hundred clients in probation revocation hearings. As a civil rights and civil liberties activist with several large organizations, I have assisted many individuals with claims against the police, local government, and area businesses with constitutional rights violations. My experience teaching law students and junior attorneys legal research and writing makes me adept at quickly responding to inquiries. Recipient of many academic and professional awards. I am also a mom and a sister of a recovering drug addict.
