I handle freelance work for other lawyers, including all brief writing and appeals. I have extensive experience in both State and Federal Court. I am not the typical freelancer in that I have been a practicing trial lawyer for almost 20 years, first with my own firm in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia and the last 4 with Yearout and Traylor in Birmingham, Alabama. I know what I am doing and am only handling freelance work because I am trying to get joint physical custody of my children and like the flexibility freelance work provides.
My fees are reasonable, either $100 an hour up front OR $75 an hour up front and $75 contingent when the case is over. In return you will receive a professional work product. If I can be of any help, do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
