My Expert Service
|
|
My research focuses on the following questions: Under what conditions is eyewitness testimony unreliable? What dispositional and contextual factors lead to false confessions? Are jurors influenced by Expert testimony? Under what conditions are children reliable witnesses? When and how do memories for non-experienced events occur, and how does this phenomenon relate to cases of recovered memories of child sexual abuse? I have published my findings in peer-reviewed journals. I am also a university professor teaching courses in human memory and legal psychology. I can advice or conduct psychological research on legal cases that involve my areas of expertise.
