I am a doctoral level therapist with considerable experience dealing with addictions. I believe that addressing addictive behavior involves not only developing strategies to cope with the addictive behavior itself, but also that it is important to deal with the feelings and issues that lie underneath. I can help with both. Sessions are likely to involve developing strategies to contend directly with addictive behavior, but are also likely to include discussion of self esteem, relational, emotional, vocational, and family issues that impact addictive behavior.
