My Expert Service

I am a dual-mastered clinician and published author who currently treats clients and families struggling with addictions, grief/tragic loss, and other life transitions (divorce, job change/loss, move, pet loss, etc.) I believe that nobody's story is too painful to be heard or healed. Contact me, and you'll realize that your story matters and you are no longer alone. I practice under the belief that wherever there is breathe, there IS HOPE, and I treat my clients accordingly. No matter what your current crisis or challenge, I will be honored to listen and to respond in a way that empowers you to help yourself find the freedom and happiness you desire.

Experience & Qualifications

I am a dual mastered MSW and M.Ed who also practices as an advanced LCSW. My M.Ed. was obtained in December of 2001 from Loyola University Chicago and my MSW was obtained in May 2005, also from Loyola University Chicago. My undergraduate degree is in communications. I work as a private practitioner/therapist with individuals and couples. I have been a professional presenter at the Hines VA training staff on issues of veterans and grief/loss/trauma. I also work directly as a clinician with people who have lost loved ones to suicide. I have published over 40 articles and am the author of 101 Substance Abuse Recovery Tips.
