I am a qualified psychiatrist. Being a medical doctor I have been exposed to the inevitable death and the dying, and their immediate families right from my student days. The terminally ill patients are literally disowned by most doctors. Being an Asian I have the advantage of exposure to various positive philosophies about death and the hereafter, without bias to any religion. This helps me to serve the terminally ill patients and their families, with satisfactory results. I have vast experience in psychotherapy and counselling. I am particularly interested in grief therapy for the bereaved members. I apply similar principles while dealing with cases of separation.
