Free minutes to explain problem. I have a very practical, hands-on approach, using both cognitive-behavioral techniques and insight-oriented skills. I am trained as both a therapist and a coach. I am caring and compassionate, honest and direct.
I will work efficiently with you to
maximize your session time.
Some things are hard to discuss, like sexual issues, abuse, and infidelity. I create a safe and supportive place for you to talk about the more difficult things.

Licensed, clinical social worker with over 25 years of psychotherapy experience in private practice. Graduate of two, post-graduate, psychotherapy training institutes in NYC. Also completed all coursework at the ADD Coach Academy. Inpatient and outpatient clinical experience at Mt. Sinai Med Cntr. Former staff member of the NY State Office of Developmental Disabilities. Areas of focus: depression, anxiety, relationship stress and break-ups, divorce, 2nd families, PTSD, eating disorders, terminal cancer, sexual abuse hx. grief work, aging parents, infertility, adoption, and attention deficit disorder in adults. Television appearances on topic of Attention Deficit Disorder. Awarded Susan B, Komen Foundation Grant for breast cancer support services. Public speaking, teleseminars, supervision.
