My Expert Service

I provide counseling and psychotherapy for issues that interfere with a person happiness. From job stress, career challenges to living with pain and illness, I offer strategic methods to solve problems. For anxiety, depression, and relationship problems, I offer cognitive-behavioral that will help you stabilize your moods. If appropriate to your situation, I incorporate mindfulness meditation, self-hypnosis, dream analysis and other creative arts to use creativity in problem solving.

Experience & Qualifications

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been in private practice for more than twenty years. I also teach psychology classes for four colleges and universities and facilitate a university sponsored alcohol and drug program. I have worked as a Family Mediator and continue to provide forensic evaluations and expert testimony for the legal community. I serve clients nationally and internationally. I have always been deeply interested in human nature, creativity, consciousness, and dreams. I followed my interest by earning two advanced degrees in Counseling Psychology (M.S.) and Psychology (PhD). In addition to my clinical training, I am strongly influenced by mindfulness practice, Buddhist philosophy, yoga, Jungian thought, and humanistic values and beliefs. In my private practice, I offer meditation training, coaching, individual and group counseling and psychotherapy, forensic consulting, and learning opportunities. I am an independent scholar and phenomenological researcher about the human condition. I have presented at national and international conferences across the United States, Canada, Japan, Italy, Finland, and Russia. I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, the International Society of Mental Health Counselors Online, and other state associations. I would be happy to offer you a an initial consultation to hear about your situation and see if we would be a good fit to work together.
