Sometimes a crisis is unavoidable, and the only real thing that we have control over is how we react to it. Regardless of how tough it is, an event that occurred in your life doesn't have to control your life, and it is always possible to move forward.
“It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.” –Alan Cohen

Very emphatic. I felt very comfortable telling him things as they are. He asked concise, relevant questions to better understand my situation during the brief session we had; doesn't waste your time; offered insightful suggestions. I'll definitely come back :)

Excellent advice. Needed support and confirmation and received it promptly. Pointed out some things that I needed to hear to help me clarify dealing with spouse. Given me some things to think about and try before we have our next session. He hit the nail on the head. Also, very available. Thank you, Ryan.
