Experience & Qualifications
|
|
Having several years experience in various areas of the social service and mental health field from an outpatient hospital unit to a non-for-profit counselling agency, I have come to gain a strong foundation working with children, adolescents and adults with various mental health struggles. I have also developed skills and an understanding of the trauma and long-term impacts that can result from childhood sexual abuse. I approach counselling in a very collaborative manner believing that you are the expert of your life; you know yourself in a way no one else can. What I hold is an expertise in facilitating a therapeutic process. It is within these conversations that I believe great work can be done to assist you in working through struggles you facing.
