I assist you in identifying what you would like to change and teach you tools to make changes. I also believe in the power of being able to tell your story in a safe and supportive environment. I use a wide vareity of techniques including cognitive behavioral, narrative, and motivational interviewing. I have experience and training working with clients with a wide variety of issues. I have specialized in individuals affected by trauma and loss and have given multiple trainings in these areas.

I have worked with clients in clinics and have a private practice in my hometown. I have a Master's in Social Work and am licensed in the State of Oregon as a Clinical Social Worker.

I noticed that these ratings are set for each session, but this applies to all sessions with her: Katie Richley is an outstanding therapist. I have had a lot of exposure to Psychology through taking a lot of classes and reading a lot on the subject, coupled with some encounters with mental health professionals that were less than pleasant or helpful, both online and in person, as a client and professionally, so I am extremely picky and hard to please when it comes to mental health care of any kind. Katie, however, not only met, but exceeded my expectations. I would suggest her to anyone who needs supportive and helpful advice and guidance that is also practical and down to earth.
