Your safety is my priority, and if you are currently involved in an abusive relationship, a safety plan will be created for you to implement. Any current and active live threatening situation should be referred to emergency services.
For those individuals who have suffered through violence, abuse, and other traumas, I generally provide professional short term, solution focused counseling services focusing on improvement of self esteem, skill building, coping skills, relationship skills, problem solving skills, and other skills as needed to support you. I also provide brief solution focused therapy services here in my online office, which include supportive listening for those individuals who feel that all they need is support and encouragement.
I do provide homework and suggestions for individuals to try, and strongly believe in working as a team, with you, to help you. Please note that I will be conducting a brief assessment during the initial contact to determine the scope and history of the problem, and this is done to help create a plan to help you. This will occur during live chat, only.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I have 6 years post masters experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I have experience working with the severely mentally ill adolescent and adult population, bereavement, mood disorders, relationship issues/interpersonal issues, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. In my career, I have helped a number of families and individuals dealing with serious mental illness, situational depression and anxiety, relationship problems, divorce, death, trauma, abuse, eating disorders, and many other situations.
