Degrees

I have a master's degree in social work from the University of New England. I am a licensed clinical social worker.

My Expert Service

I provide short-term treatment for a variety of problems including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, parenting issues, and more. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy as a primary treatment method so that people can learn how to apply these skills after treatment has ended. Cognitive-behavioral therapy has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of problems as people learn skills to change their These skills can be applied to a variety of issues in life and can be continued after therapy ends so that people can experience long lasting change that improve the quality of their lives. Cognitive-behavioral therapy teaches people how to have more control over their feelings and provides step-by-step assistance in making change.

Experience & Qualifications

I have worked as an outpatient mental health counselor for the past 10 years in community mental health centers. I provide individual, family, and group therapy to adults and children. I also work in a school setting providing consultation to school based staff and providing individual therapy to adolescents. I have facilitated groups in the past including parenting groups and anger management groups.
