My Expert Service

Establishing Trust between client and counselor is the most important step in the therapeutic process. My goal as the counselor is to establish trust and provide a safe place for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and concerns to a professional unbiased listener. As a Social Worker Department Head for 14 years providing healing and support to 120 residents and family members and as part of the treatment team in an inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, problems ranged from insomnia, relationship problems to suicidal thoughts and cutting behaviors. Sometimes all we need is a listening ear to really hear what we are saying. Sometimes hearing an objective comment to your situation can assist in seeing a situation in a different way. Using the Decision-Making Model can assist you with decision making in an objective manner. Not ever problem or negative situation can be solved but if you cannot change the situation you can change your attitude and/or remove yourself from the problem and/or situation. I can teach you the tools to accept and regain peace and comfort and a sense of purpose despite problem areas.
