Everyone is unique and beautiful; no two human beings are alike. Yet, many times we are made to believe either through someone else’s behavior or our own self-defeating beliefs, that we are as common as a penny. Moreover, there is tremendous pressure on women and men to look a certain way and to be “perfect,” which sometimes leads us to develop body image issues and eating disorders. I will use my education and experience to help you develop a healthy relationship with food and learn to appreciate your beauty both in and out.

Experience & Qualifications

I have been in the field of psychology/counseling for over 13 years, and I have worked with a wide range of individuals including eating disorders and body image issues. I also have extensive experience working with military personnel and their families and am acutely aware of the unique problems of which they have to cope on a daily basis. Currently, I am in private practice. I also work contractually for a local doctor’s office providing mental health/meditation training to pain management clients, and provide personal fitness training to patrons at one of the local gyms.
