My name is Karen and I provide a motivational, client centered approach to counseling. Depending on your individual needs will determine the method of therapy. Most sessions will be geared toward self-awareness, acceptance, self-concept, change and problem solving. My goals are to offer possible solutions for troubled individuals and their families and to promote health and well being of individuals facing difficulty in their lives.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of counseling and treatment experience. I have worked with families and individuals effected by self esteem, conflict resolution, stress/anger management, financial issues, co-dependency, domestic violence, substance abuse, HIV, communication, and relationships. I also have trauma and treatment experience in crisis and disaster, death and grieving, childhood sexual abuse, PTSD, and depression.

My first session and we have covered so much. I like her technique. She doesn't leave a stone unturned. She gathers information and comes up with a plan in a reasonable amount of time. I will be continuing with Karen. Very impressive.
