As a counseling psychologist for over forty years I have worked in many areas including substance abuse, relationship problems, eating disorders, human development, aging, mental illness, anxiety, aggression, anger management, and developmental disabilities. I have worked in Psychiatric Emergency for eight years and have learned to be able to assess and treat psychological problems quickly and accurately. In my 20 years of working in hospital settings I have seen severe psychotic symptoms be contained and treated. I have worked with the criminally insane for 20 years and have run anger management groups as well as dealt with people with impulse disorders I have worked with couples, families and their children in the 20 years of private practice. I had an ADD Clinic or many years.

25 years private practice, sixteen years in psychiatric emergency on the phone, in person and in a hospital setting. I set up an ADD clinic and an alcohol and drug rehab center. I have worked with foster and adopted children and their families and was a child and adolescent therapist for over twenty years.
