Experience & Qualifications

I have over 10 years of experience as a Social Worker, Coach ( life skills trainer), Individual (all ages), Family and Couples Counselor. I have worked with diverse client populations, including: abuse survivors, children at risk, those with developmental disorders, families , couples, gay/ lesbian couples, recovering addicts,
chronically mentally ill clients, persons with mood, anxiety, eating, sexual and adjustment disorders, clients with terminal illnesses and HIV and individuals whose goal is growth and development. I have extensive crisis counseling experience and two years of experience supervising student counselors.
Currently, I provide therapy for at risk children and families and work in private practice
as an individual and couples counselor. I also provide workshops and support groups for people with depression and anxiety . My clients describe me as caring, insightful, helpful, inspiring, compassionate, and very comforting.
