My Expert Service

I am a licensed clinical social worker. Currently I am in private practive but I have also been the Clinical Director of a local psychiatric hospital. The work I do with families focuses on building healthy family cultures through improved communication and parenting skills. I have also done a lot of work with parents in recovery who are re-discovering their role as parents. My approach is individualized, positive and practical. I have a bias toward action and change. I believe even small changes can have big and sometimes unexpected positive results. Having worked in both an acute hospital setting and out-patient practice I have experience with the full range of mental health and substance abuse problems.

Experience & Qualifications

15 years as a clinical social worker in both in-patient and out-patient settings. 4 years experience as a middle school teaacher. I have special training in Dialetical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused therapy and family therapy.
