My Expert Service

I provide therapy for emotional; mental health; intrapersonal and inter-personal issues by using innovative methods such as CBT, Solution Focused, and Goal Directed family systems models. Family therapy offers solutions and facilitates positive change in seemingly hopeless situation. People typically develop relational styles based on what they have learned from their families. Sometimes these ways of relating to others can be dysfunctional and trigger psychological symptoms and/or relationship problems. Family models can help change these dysfunctional patterns and help people develop healthier styles of relating to others. By speaking with me you can: learn easy ways to deal with common family, personal and relationship difficulties as well as develop solutions for healthier & happier living.

Experience & Qualifications

I have provided direct interventions with parents, children resolving numerous family issues such as behavioral problems, emotional problems (such as ADD-poor attention and concentration, interrupts others when they are speaking, easily distracted, does not follow directions, difficulty organizing or completing tasks, forgetfulness), ADHD(poor attention, hyperactivity, impulsivity), ODD-defiance, often arguing, blaming. Conduct disorder-destruction of property, serious violations of rules, disobeying authority, decietfulness or theft agression to animals or people. Sexual reactive behavior), eating disorders, problems at home, difficulties at school, substance abuse, anger control, self esteem issues, parenting, domestic violence issues, parent-child conflicts, difficulties with adolescents and young adults, etc. I have provided therapy for nearly 8+ years, to families, couples, groups and individuals and have addressed all kinds of issues such as abuse, alcohol & drugs, behavioral disorders,Anxiety disorders: (having excessive worry, or fears such as fear of loosing control; panic attacks, stress), Mood Disorders: Depression (having low energy or fatigue; feelings or hopelessness), Bipolar (having phases of depressive and manic episodes), post traumatic stress(such as fear or helplessness, difficulty sleeping or concentrating), etc. I believe the best way to get through life is to confront the issue at hand, processing it appropriately and deal with it wisely via exploring options, and simultaneously learn to cope with difficult gridlock problems, which enables you to move forwards and to enhance the quality of your life. I am currently working at an outpatient Drug & Alcohol/Mental Health dual diagnosis program; as an outpatient D&A/MH counselor providing counseling services to individuals 18-60 year olds. I also work at an impatient treatment facility as a head clinician and behavioral specialist, providing intervention services to adolescent offenders 14-18 years of age (who have behavioral problems), and their families. My work is devoted to empowering those who are experiencing distress and/or are in difficult situations; to alleviate their symptoms and to overcome their problems. I do this by providing encouragement and support; engendering hope; building confidence; increasing insight of the underlying causes of the symptom or problem; while also focusing on positive thinking and on the unique strengths of individuals and families in order to assist them to adopt a "can do attitude", that can promote change & growth to find a successful path forward in re-establishing yourself and leading a rewarding life.

Once again, I’d like to give Francine the highest rating – she was a real help in dissecting my personal issues and shedding some light on the ways to deal with them. Highly intelligent & a good listener, she was a sheer pleasure to communicate with, and I wish there were more advisers like her. Thank you, Francine, and I’ll talk to you again real soon….” :)
