My Expert Service

I have 13 years of counseling experience working with students and families ranging from pre-school to college age. School should be a safe and welcoming place for parents and students, but for many it is often the opposite. I can provide stratagies for parents and students to help your child no longer be a victim of bullying or how to deal with social presures. Adolences can be a very challenging time for children and parents. I can be your sounding board to help you cope with this often unpredictable time. Affective parenting strategies and goal setting and attainment are specialty areas. Navigating the college search and application process along with the finacial aid process can be intimidating and confusing. I can help with how to choose the college that is best for your child. How to apply and how to pay for that school; including finacial aid and scholarships. If your child is being recommeded for Special Education Services I can help you understand the process and listen to your concerns and fears about the identification.
