Degrees in childhood development and counseling psychology. Counselor Finnegan started her work with children in the 60's within a large foundling home in Chicago. She continued her education and working career with federal Head Start programs, state and county run agencies, and public schools. During this time span Counselor Finnegan worked with children and families therapeutically. She also met with families, teachers, school psychologists and social services agencies to develop behavior plans and facilitate optimal learning opportunities for children of varying levels of development.

Experience & Qualifications
|
|
Experience and education include a master of arts degree in counseling with a transpersonal emphasis from John F. Kennedy University, Berkeley Ca. Undergraduate education also includes early childhood development. Work with families directly, providing consultion to staff with Head Start Child Development Centers for a total of 12 years, and 14 years providing full-time counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and families. I am a member of a State Licensed Private Mental Health Clinic.
