MA, BA Psychology, honors in all academic degrees, Licensed as a Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counselor for 20 years. Certified in Mental Health and Gerontological Counseling by the National Board of Counselor Certification. Certified as a Rehabilitation Counselor by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification. Member of the International Society of Mental Health Online.

My Expert Service

I have worked with people of all ages, individuals, couples and families for 25 years. I have experience with anger management,depression, anxiety and stress, all or which are far to common, especially with the uncertainty in today's economy.

Experience & Qualifications

I provided counseling outreach while at a community mental health clinic and am knowledgable about all types of mental illness including depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. I served as a Guardian ad litem for the Probate Court system, assessing the competency of persons with dementia and mental health issues. I worked with older adults and their families and caregivers. I counseled disabled high school students and helped them transition from a sheltered school environment. While under a contract with Vocational Rehabilitation, I evaluated students with learning disabilities who were graduating from high school to determine their need for assistive technology in higher education. At Project Aids I counseled people with HIV/AIDS. Prior to earning an MA, I worked as a Social Case Worker for Families with Children and with the Work Incentive Program.
