My Expert Service

In helping someone to learn to manage their anger, it is very important to understand the feelings that are evoked and to develop tools to deal with these feelings before they lead to destructive angry exchanges. It is also essential to help people learn how to express their anger in ways that are constructive because when they can do this, their anger will be less frightening to them and they wont bottle it up so that the result is destructive when it is expressed. My Individual Psychotherapy practice is based upon my belief that every person is unique and therefore, my approach is always individualized. The focus is directed toward developing the most effective ways to address each person's needs and goals, as well as exploring circumstances, past and present, that could be interfering with the achievement of these goals.

Experience & Qualifications

I worked in various psychiatric hospitals and community facilities for over 10 years. For the past 15 years, I have been in full time private practice with individual adults. Many people come to me with serious problems surrounding their ability to deal with their anger constructively and a fear of outbursts that have led to a good deal of disappointment and loss in their lives.
